  • I am in need of a fuel selector valve for a 1958 182A skylane.I was told by McFarlane that the part # is 0311070-1. While in for annual we found when in the off position it does not seem to even slow the fuel.I called McFarlane for a rebuilt but they stated they did not have a core.I thought about sending mine in for rebuild but I hate to be down for 2-4 weeks.

  • I need your opinion .I own a 1958 cessna 182 A.It runs like a swiss watch but I feel the need to get your thoughts on what would be the best engine monitor that will show CHT/EGT on all cylinders.I currently have the stock single CHT I am preparing to take some longer cross country flights and would like to keep a closer eye on things. Thanks in advance

182Pflyer google "Savvy Aviation Choosing and Upgrading Your Engine Monitor" for some expert advice on your question. I have had an EDM-700 and Fuel Flow for several years, and upload the data to the Savvy site for analysis (it's free). I can't imagine flying without it.
