Backcountry Pilot

Good morning gang, has anyone replaced an exhaust manifold or otherwise fixed an exhaust leak? Also, I've done a ton of work and upgrades on the bush hawk the past year, and would love to share those learnings / trade tips, including from the TC holder. I know this sounds like a basic question, but do you guys know what the wingspan is of the Bushhawk? The POH lists both the 2C1 and 2C2 as 36ft, and it's clearly larger than that (at least the 2C1 is after the mods to convert to a 2C2 equivalent), but measuring by hand isn't the easiest thing to do.

Guys, what have yall done for engine exchange / buying a new engine? Have you tried a different engine model or core? After contacting 8 overhaul shops this week, apparently the 540-L1C5 is the rarest of the subvariants, meaning zero possibility of buying an engine for exchange, and therefore 4 months+ of downtime while a shop overhauls mine. Ideas? Experience?
