richw56 I have a 170 over here in Vancouver and I live on an airstrip call Fly4fun. my 170 is an A model with a stock wing and prop. Hope to see you at one of the EAA breakfasts At twin Oaks Soon. I just got the airplane in the air after restoration in late June since then it has been to Idaho two times and California two times so mostly cross country work with a little bit of fun on one of the trips to Idaho.
I do A lot of flying with a friend of mine who has a straight tail 172 with STOL kit and big tires. we’d like to do the trip down to the coast to Nehalem Bay camping And a lot of those hundred dollar hamburgers at Pacific city and seaside And Hood River. We also like to camp close to home at daybreak a whopping 10 minute flight from home. So we go in there a lot just for the afternoon.6 years ago -
