If you get an export cofa from the seller that helps quite a bit. If the airplane has not ever had an n# before that make things a little more difficult. I imported a 185 from Quebec about 17 years ago and it was quite painless. The plane had never been issued an n# but I had the seller provide an export CofA and also deregister the airplane in Canada and it went quite smooth.
