Thanks for all the advice and leads! I have really learned a lot about the BC area through this search. There are definitely a number of places with facilities that would make for a great fly-in, even quite a few that can accommodate wheels and floats. It looks like the best place that I have...
This spot has trees on 2 1/2 sides and a grumpy Neighbor on the 3rd. So I came in and out over a friendly neighbors yard. The grumpy neighbor still complained to the tower, Sheriff and the FAA but they all told him I was within my rights!
Fun landing place, trees on 3 sides and a grumpy neighbor on the 3rd so I did it as a one-way, in and out over a friendly neighbors property

Here is an update. Pelly lake is not available this year because they are doing a bunch of work on the cabins and they also would want to make sure that the Outfitter that shares the landing strip with them would be part of the scheduling. They are very interested in a Fly-In in future years...
Matt, It is certainly not well known but Pelly has a 1700' landing strip. And it is certainly farther North than I would like. I'm trying to find all the options and put them on the table for discussion.
Ken, Germansen sure looks like it would be very nice even though it is a little far north and personally I do like the idea of a place that is rather remote (Backcountry). I will reach out to some people in that area and see if I can get a condition report. Matt, I expect the strip at Nimpo Lake...
Bowron Lake looks very interesting. The Resort owners there sure have managed to anger a lot of guests, TripAdvisor has a whole bunch of negative reviews about the ownership. But please let me know if the BCGA members have something coming together or how I would connect with them or if the...
I would like to put together a Fly-In somewhere in BC during the first two weeks of July 2019. I think it would be incredibly fun if we could find a remote airstrip or large gravel bar next to a water body where we could have a floats and wheels fly-in for Backcountry pilots. Dose anyone have...
BlackWaterThat has definitely crossed my mind, I still want some time to polish some parts up.
Also I approached this first 100 hours on floats with a lot of caution and I've been slow to share it with experienced float pilots (but I'm slowly getting over that).

Ever since I got the Husky project flying (12 months ago), I have had my eye on this field as a potential landing spot (a property that I manage). I really could only see one place where I could land because...
