  • Hello everyone, I have not posted in a very long time or even logged in for that matter. I have lurked a few times but that is it. I am ready to get back to the basics, and want to start doing some back...

I like the photo of the Tern on floats a couple post back. That makes my blood flow. Yes it is a similar airfoil to the tcraft. I undersrand that it is slightly longer in the chord. Flaps would make...

I sure hope there is room for a couple more cadets out there. One is all I want for now. I like the L-6 style with 90hp, suits me just fine. Although with 160hp it would be a hoss.

I just got back from up north last week with three Interstate Cadet projects. When I purchased the projects I was told there was a lycoming engine mount and fiberglass cowling. Pretty cool I thought at...

  • Flying taildraggers makes you a better pilot, just as learning acro makes you a better pilot also. The more well rounded you are, the more capable you will become. This does not mean that trike pilots...

  • Luscombe, C-140, Chief, taylorcraft all with tested tryed and true engines. Flying safely for decades with billions of hours. The folding wing thing is a farse. Your plane needs to be at the airport ready...

  • Do not miss the point. "Pilots who learn to fly tail wheel airplanes are better stick and rudder pilots". They also transition to other aircraft faster, and are more competent controling the airplane for...

  • I am curious to see if there is any change (i would not think so) but curious anyway. In south texas an oil filter will make an engine run hotter though!
