Tad Smith grew up on a small family farm in the south. After years of living in big cities and going to work in tall buildings, he found his way to Alaska and resumed spending most of his time outdoors. There's always new territory to explore and new adventures to be had around the Last Frontier, and while his winter plans may vary, the prospect of spending the summer flying floatplanes is always on his mind no matter how much snow and ice is on the ground.
