Richard Holm
The historian, pilot, outdoor enthusiast, and a third generation Idahoan has a profound fascination with the history of the state, especially topics related to the remote regions. Since graduating from the University of Idaho in 2005, Holm has written numerous pieces related to the backcountry, including Points of Prominence: Fire Lookouts of the Payette National Forest and the Bound for the Backcountry series. When not collecting information for his latest endeavor, Holm resides in Boise and McCall with his wife Amy.
