Backcountry Pilot

Daniel Nilsson

Daniel Nilsson hails from Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, where he's cultivated a taste for fine Skywagons and backcountry lake exploration. A pilot for better than 25 years, he's owned a Cessna 140 and Piper J-3, among others. He enjoys riding motorcyles, and flying his 1956 Cessna 180 to go fishing with his two young daughters. He firmly believes his experience as a volunteer firefighter and paramedic contributed to a positive outcome in his 2015 crash and unplanned overnight at Bushey Lake.
