  • Your old 170 and repaired by me, then crashed when the right wheel went into a hole adjacent to the Enumclaw airport has been rebuilt again. It’s in Medford having the finishing touches done. It was rebuilt in Northern California. Now has an o 360 220 horsepower engine. It looks great.

Scolopax Way cool! Thanks for the info! I'd love to see some pictures. I had some amazing adventures in that plane. I put a thousand hours on it and took it to a lot of great places.

  • Do you know if kenmore is hiring new pilots. The reason i ask is that a young woman pilot with her twin commercial is looking for work.

  • 7ECAdriver and 94 others have joined the group Cessna 170
  • I have the STC Group autopilot and have been having a problem with the tracking and course settings. It wants to wander while it corrects itself. Is this the problem that you had? If it is what did you do to correct it?

  • With the Stc Group trio setup were you able to correct excessive hunting for the track? We are having trouble getting it to track properly

  • Just wanted to let you know that I installed the stcd version of G5 works great now to install the second G5 for experimental aircraft since my 182 did not come with a dg in 1963. It was an absolute basic needle and ball plane. I intend to hook up the pitot static system and use it as a dg for a possible autopilot. What is your opinion?

  • I was looking to do the same thing with my 182. The G5 experimental seems the way to go. Wanted to see what the 337 says. It is not a major alteration so it has to be minor. Need help down here in Enumclaw to do this.

  • Does anyone have an idea regarding ads-b such that it would cost less than three thousand and up for compliance with the FAa requirements?

Mike mangold crashed his jet in California. Sad to hear that he died as well as his passenger. Not backcountry related but he was a great pilot in the red bull races. Ron

Fantastic production. Have not been I there in years and it makes me want to plan a trip for this summer after the Mosquitos have lessened.

  • The ABW tail wheel tires while smooth without tread seem to last much longer than the Aero Classics. New out of the box I had checking in the rubber, since then I have stayed the with the ABW's. Moss Farmer

  • I have it on my 54 170b. Adds about 9 lbs and is taller. No noticeable change to handling. Really not much different from the Scott 3200. That is my two cents. Moss Farmer
