I was discussing the purchase of an unfinished Aeromods Cessna 206 project and a friend suggeseted there were problems with engine-life and heat-buildup in the engine compartment. He is a professional bush pilot flying in an equatorial climate. He cites engine failures and metal fatigue due to excessive heat in the engine compartment. Any thoughts anyone wants to share?
PPONK 0-470-50 conversion costs. Can anyone tell me what is involved woth the PPonk 0-470-50 conversion on the Cessna 182? Is there an STC fee? Will this engine upgrade require any upgrade to the airframe or will it bolt right into the 182 airframe...1963 - 182
