Hi Fellow So. Cal. Pilots & owners. I'm new to this site & just found this group. I recently bought a 206 w/ STOL mods, and I'm looking forward to doing some backcountry flying! Plane is based at KCCB (Cable Airport). Will be flying out to S.E. Arizona in mid-June for a cargo pod & V brace install, electrical work & Annual. Hope to make friends & plan/participate in group trips!
rbaron11Well, I watched the video - certainly the airplane is capable but I'd want to have a much more experienced pilot fly the plane for the first few trips or so Ha! I confess I don't have much time with backcountry flying, let alone in a busy MOA! Are there any experienced pilots out there that might want to fly with me for a trip or two? My 206 has the Robertson STOL kit, Fences, VGs, Flint tip tanks, continuous flap switch & flap dump switches on the yokes, Cleveland brakes & 8.50x6.00 mains.
