8 miles NE of KHZX which has 100LL and courtesy car.
I will have handhelds on 122.90 on the day of. You need permission to use the base so call me on 122.9 for permisiion inbound (State thing).
We will go from morning until you all need to beat sunset home. Trick Air will have food and beverages in a semi heated hangar. If you don't have skis or bush wheels or your name doesn't rhyme with Mark Mathison (he don't need no stinking bush wheels; he flies a turbine) we can come to McGregor airport and pick folks up. I have a few buddies coming who want to help for the day so we can accommodate. We also will have ample parking for ground pounders on site.
Please look to this thread for updated snow and ice conditions and wx updates. If you would like to park overnight, bring a fart sack and we will have ample wobbly pops and bunk space in the main cabin. I also will have power available for Tanis heaters (One of our generous sponsors last year) upon request. Let me know your needs at [email protected] or 612-963-1655.
We had some great door prizes last year and look to make this a fun event and one where you can see the latest and greatest in skis and enjoy some great aircraft. More to come as we get closer to the date.
