Interesting development: heard through the grapevine that certification papers were purchased by a New Zealand company, and they're planning on starting up production of the E350 again in 2017.
Took a trip out west with my E350, stopping along the way for some camping. Best strip enroute was Lee Bottom Flying Field in Hanover, Indiana. We hung around for a day to help setup for their annual "Wood, Fabric, and Tailwheel" Fly-in. Had to set off for Santa Fe and Driggs, ID before their event, but sure enjoyed meeting folks and the beautiful grass strip. vimeo.com/…
just got an email from someone named Franca Guida, announcing an onsite and webcast auction of what looks like ALL assets at the Parry Sound manufacturing facility. Airframes, engines, tooling, parts. Kinda makes the possibility of any reorganization back into manufacturing even more unlikely. Very discouraging development. tinmanhi tiny a guy named Dave lunn bought all the expedition parts from stores and some of the tooling to make the assemblies, I have most of the tooling for aft fuse flight controls wing spars and I have finished parts also I was a sub contractor for them the bush hawk parts were bought by kingfisher air
