Towing a 180? Hangar has an uphill ramp of about 14" over 12 foot apron. I have been pulling it in backwards using the tailspring/tailwheel assembly using a strap around the tailwheel head and a winch on an ATV then using ATV in reverse, pull uphill in to the hangar. Wondering if this is stressing my tailwheel/spring/saddle assemblies? Ever heard of anyone causing damage dragging a 180?
Big Sky-WagonLP, Know this is an old post but did you come up with a solution to towing your 180? I have the same problem. I'm in fairly level soft soil.
Hello All... Well I went and did it... Stoopid pilot that I am, I am thinking 2 planes ar better than 1. I bought a project 180 that I will try to have flying by HSF. All my tail time is from many years ago in a Twin Beech and I know that I need some training, Skywagon specific. Looking for someone to help me get my feet back before I fly it. I am in RNO/BOI, anywhere really. Please help

Rwy37Sounds good. So far I've got 21 strips identified for the 1st day and probably another 20 for the 2nd day... obviously we won't land at them all, but I think it's interesting to see some of these places and I bet most pilots down here didn't know they existed... I can be reached at infolreaviation.org, and my name is Anthony
