I managed to put together footage of the float plane flight that I did in Alaska (while my wife was getting her float plane rating). This was filmed using a GoPro Fusion attached to the front right float of the airplane. It was rendered as a 360 Degree video in the GoPro Fusion studio. That footage was then imported into Adobe Premier for panning zooming etc. Gauges were added using Race Render.
So the article is a bit old but there are one or two things worth mentioning. I wouldn't actually shoot below 60fps. This is due to the "jello" effect that is clearly visible in said footage. Shooting at a higher frame rate will get rid of that. Plus with an ND filter you'll still be able to get
