I like the pictures of the experimental Stinson you posted. Do you know where it is located and/or how to get in contact with the owner? I have a bunch of Stinson parts and am interested in building an experimental.

elliottrussHi Shane, I got my Stinson up to AK from Washington a couple of weeks ago. I took the highway mostly. I flew the trench from MacKenzie to Watson Lake. It's a long way with no emergency landing strip (highway). I only had the weekend to make the trip so I didn't get to stop in to see you. - Russ
I have recently acquired a set of Wesco skis for my Stinson 108-3. These are in very good condition. The bottoms are made from steel - very heavy. So I am thinking that I will need to replace with UHMW. On the type certificate, it says, "*(e) Wesco A-25, AS-2A or AS-2B per Western Aircraft Equip
