Iceman, sorry that I missed you. We went in, camped for 2 days and left very early Sat. morning to take advantage age of the cooler air. Did go in and out by way of Cascade just to be cautious. Had a great time and met some great people. Thanks to all for the great advice. Been guite a trip so far. Crossed the divide at Butte mid day today.
