I read his books years ago.Good reads.I remember him telling of landing in a lake that they could not get out of,he handed his wife a rifle and told her there was a bigger lake a couple miles away and he would meet her there.I wonder if she learned to fly after that.

Yup,never saw another 180 beat him (Only his brother).Whole family flys and competes at Greenville.On a good day I have seen him get off in one float length.
