Taildraggers - but anything that flies is good. Exploring grass airstrips, mountains to sea, instructing, traveling (US and international), camping, hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, swimming, biking...

Wingman12Excellent mods and it's such a great design to begin with! How much of that could you do without bureaucratic hassle or category change? Enjoy that HSF event. Sounds like fun, though I enjoy some forest and greenery and water! LOL
have a M4 220 with some mods, put it in Exp Exhib.

Wingman12How do you like that Franklin? I've had two Stinsons with the 165, great engines and planes, but getting tough to find mechanics for annuals that want to or are familiar with Franklins. What mods did you put on your M4?

I'm planning to fly my 1966 Maule M4-210C with big tires from S. CA north through CA, OR, WA, then east through ID, MT to MI, then south to VA, NC, FL. I've got plenty of tailwheel time and some good mountain...
Great to have an OH/eastern US group. Thanks Crzyivan13....! I've lived in OH (Dayton), took my CFI checkride decades ago at Sunken Lunken. Now we just need non-frigid wx to enjoy more flying!
