Yes, there is a slight loss in roll control, but I didn't even really notice it until I flew a stock winged wagon again. Under normal conditions I don't believe is gives any advantage. You shouldn't land a skywagon like a SuperStol, and even on 31s you cannot rotate enough to to use the cuff to its full advantage.
