Every part of the country has their "unique" set of circumstances that alter the norm... Like Vail, or Martha's Vineyard, or Palm Beach.. Jackson is located in Teton County Wy... 97 % of the available land is either Grand Teton National Park, or Yellowstone National Park, or Bridger Teton National Forest.. The remaining 3% is for private use,,, like us citizens to be able to buy... The sheer odds dictate the land prices are astronomical, and the taxes are STAGGERING..

. Just to fill in some blanks in the story the FBO has to pay the airport board in excess of 1 MILLION a year just to open its doors... That alone pretty much explains the high prices. Is it too high .????? probably, but supply and demand reins supreme...
