Hey guys. I have a Citabria with the wooden spars. I've tried to do the 160hp conversion, but the STC requires the factory aluminum spars. Same goes for spades. So I've been on barnstormers a lot lately and there has been a lot of citabrias on there with 160hp and spades, saying both with stcs. Yet they clearly have wood spars, as you can tell in the pictures. So am I missing something or are IAs just doing this and ignoring the stc requirements? Or is there another company besides ACA that is offering stcs for these mods? Thanks

Any airplane I own I check the list from the FAA. It helps me determine the value of the present aircraft to my needs.

Example, there is only one amphib STC, Wipaire.
