Looks like it wouldn’t take very much snow to have prop clearance be an issue.

Does this happen? People warn about it but I've never heard an anecdote. Do insurance policies expressly mention anything along these lines?


I know of an aircraft that was a total loss and had very significant paperwork issues, to the point that lawsuits were threatened by STC holders. They still got their full payout on the insurance check.
