185'n around

Was invited to join my Carbon Cub friends on an excursion to the Ozark Mountains last week. Hastily mounted a camera and shot what I could. Took the 185 cause I knew the Wx would suck coming home and I'd rather deal with that at 165mph instead of 85mph.

That was great, thanks for sharing. I'll have to check out the wind river lodge.

Cool. I liked the cookie lady's place.

I thought this fly in occurred later in the year? Not sure if that is correct or not.

I think this was mostly just an excuse to go flying under the guise of "they're going to show us some new places to land". You are correct, the true Ozark Fly-in and STOL Competition occurs in May. I'll be sure and post info about it although I'll be in Alaska so will miss that event.

Great video, enjoyed the soundtracks too.

I hadn't considered all the opportunities in Arkansas for flying. Thanks for sharing, Phil.
