My first child got her first flight logged. It certainly sheds a new light on flying to take your first for her first flight. To boot, she gave us a thumbs-up!

Humor may not make the world go around, but it certainly cheers up the process...

With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).

I saw the link but looks like it needs an AOPA membership to view. Are there any other sources for the 'how to'? Would love to add it to the list of ways I am spoiling her. So far, though she's a month old, she's already got a pink bb gun, a .410, and a Lionel train under the Christmas tree.... Poor girl.

Well, then let me put a plug in for joining AOPA! That is the only place I've seen it and is the only thing of it's kind I have found.
Short of that, PM me your email address and I'll email the article to you. Pretty cheap to make and works well.

Tundra, get a motorcycle heating vest if you have cig lighter plugs. Even on low settings they work awesome! When I built my Kitfox7, I opted to not put in heating and use the vest. I have flown in the teens here wearing a t-shirt on the 'low' setting. Wrap Amelia up and it's instant summer. The pink Peltor kid's hearing protection does well on the youngun's heads too.
