The Piper crash appears to be loss of control for some reason resulting in contact with ground. You can get very distracted when looking for something on the ground while flying.

In the video portion on news report, I noticed two very large structures nearby that I can't indentify but look like some sort of powerline towers or something. I wonder it they played a role.

Too many crashes lately. It seems most out west. Be careful, and whatever happens, dont stall it.
