2009 Johnson Creek BCP Fly-In Reports, Videos, and Photos

Thought I'd start a new thread with a couple of videos that I've already posted in other threads. I suck at this, but I am working on a potluck video. The first one was done by a program that was on my computer called Muvee. You just drag in some video, pictures, and music and hit make movie. The second one is from a free trial download called Vegas. More work. Takes more computer savvy than I have to make it better.

Please post Videos, Photos, and Written experiences

I really like your pics & vids! I am going to start working on one of these soon myself. I love the old look for Warren Airstrip. If you recall my friend has family cabins there. Very cool town, if you stop in later in the day the bar is open and you can get a great burger there!

That was awesome! Funny, I saw a Highlander in that video twice. Most be why I like it so much. LOL I just finished a camera mount for my plane today. going to practice with it a little before we head your way. I am in Idaho July 31st thru Aug 5. Looking forward to meeting up with as many BCP friends as I can. :D :D =D>

If your not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

Here's the pot luck video! This is also a product of Muvee. Very little work on my part.

TURN IT UP!

We had a great time at JC. The people we met were great, potluck was awesome, and the micro brews had enough kick that I didn't want to get up the next morning.
We left Amity, Or. Thursday afternoon and flew over the cascades to Three Rivers to spend the night at Don's place. Then on to Joesph and JC the next morning.
I heard there was a plane in the trees at JC and as I flew over midfield I could see it was Don. I about $%it myself, knowing his skill level and that he has flown more than 30 years without bending a plane and this is my first time landing in a canyon I thought I was done for.
It was a bummer leaving a plane behind when we left on Sunday. The good part is that no one got hurt and he will have float fittings on it when he gets it back.

Terry, you sure are a smooth lander... damn. The camera doesn't even register any sign of touchdown.

Hey all,

Zane was going to splice mine in from the "Northwest Circle" thread, but he must have gotten busy. You can read my trip report here:

http://www.backcountrypilot.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=4125

And here are some of the trip's highlights:

Enjoy! We sure did! Hope to see you all again next year and to meet more of you there.
