2013

Having been stuck at home the past couple days, I've had lots of time to play with editing video, so this is another one I just made...

My friend Steve and I bought our Savannah from "Savannah-Tom" back in April... This is my first time owning an aircraft so I've been pretty stoked! Here is a video I put together of all the "cool" places I've taken it since then. Unfortunately I never seem to film my favorite or what I consider my most "technical" landings, maybe because I'm usually more focused on flying than filming, oh well there is always next year! There are a couple shots of cockpit shots where Steve is the one flying, so he is the dude with the grey hair

Tragically, ATXCitab (Hank Sasser) perished in a crash in August 2014. He was a great guy and will be missed. -Z

Re: 2013

I am just delighted that you posted that. Is that the Bingo or the Savannah VG? Some over all shots would be illuminating. I think you choice of avatar also speaks pointedly to your choice in airplanes. The Pug is an unusual looking animal to say the least. With any luck and a good deal of elbow grease I'll be joining you in the CH-701 one day soon. I'm still trying to get a large enough flat spot in the garage to start assembly.

Thanks, it is an earlier model Savannah S with the slats. It's a crazy fun to fly, it does not really stall and depending on conditions it cam get off the ground pretty damn quick.

Haha, yeah I never thought I would own a Pug, until my girlfriend gave me a Pug puppy last Christmas. I must say Doug the Pug is pretty damn fun to have around :D

Good luck with the 701, you'll have a blast, and I'm sure of that!

Gosh I know, I think I was getting a tan from all those bright shots while I was sitting at my computer. Now time to sit and wait 5 months and then do it all over! :D

Only 10 more days and the days will start to get longer again!
