So this will be the 2nd and hopefully annual BCP gathering at the Reno Air Races. We have a great set up there thanks to NVflyer and hope to see all you that can make it! Its less than a month away now.

If you fly in we can burn a lap or two in the desert for a "pre" High Sierra Fly-in tour or on one of our circuits here pre or post races.

Voodo is back with a new pilot...6 time champion Steve Hinton Jr., is out of Strega and flying Voodo. He took his entire crew him. New engine is going in and claims to smoke Strega are already surfacing.

Who is coming? This is hands down one of the best aviation events if the year!

I fly out of Placerville, so I suppose I may as well drive so I don't have the expense of renting a car. Or do they have efficient shuttles from Reno or Carson city?

We'll be there again. Last year was the best time we've had since attending for 8 years. Already got our lodging reservations.

Jughead will be there. I won't be able to bring my C-170, but I will bring 7 Black L-39's and a few of my favorite things (Friends and Jack!)

Made my room rez today. Went from $950 for 5 nights to $589 by switching hotels on Friday and again Sunday. Kind of a pain but for $350 it is worth it.

Your hangar as a meeting up place for BCP is great. Hope it doesn't get overwhelming there but we would love to see as many BCP at the Races as possible. How about the Elko chapter? Compare Basque restaurants.

Jughead, I imagine that the Patriots schedule quickly filled to capacity shortly after the Blues and Thunderbirds cancelled all their shows?

Looks like I can make at least one day and night. I'm thinking of a Sat evening arrival and going to the races Sunday. What night is the dinner party?

My 2 sons and Rose are going too. This might get expensive! Oh well, it is a really good time and I'm thrilled they all want to go!

Ill be there all week, I volunteered to be part of the security team. Its my first time volunteering so not sure what Ill be doing. My Dad took me to the very first Reno Air Races when I was 16 years old. They were out on a dirt strip north of town.
