Nice local flight (of two) with my Taylorcraft neighbor. Went down South to Walport ...

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics.

Winds are forcast to 50 here today so I expect will be as high or higher on the coast. I'm glad you flew during the lull. I should have been so lucky.

Thank you Doctor. We are back to normal 39KT gusts... There was a thunder bolt last night that was literally the biggest I have seen. It shook the truck. Please see graphics, below.

The horrific thunder bolt that shook Newport last night was depicted in ForeFlight about five minutes later. Totally amazing that the satellites could relay to the NWS that fast!

ForeFlight is the best.
