Looks like a scuddy but doable day with a stable atmosphere. Nice for local stuff :-)

What are your criteria for landing in brackish water? Salt water?

Actually 10 miles, 5000' Scattered. But, rainy and hazy. The GoPro makes it look spooky. Water droplets on lens.

I do salt, brackish, and freshwater. The Scout seems to do fine. I rinse with freshwater and use ACF50, zero corrosion so far.

I have been to Depoe Bay during gale conditions; it was, err, interesting. Here it is on a nice day:

Thanks for watching! Glad you are still onboard the website! I saw an FPB Dashew coming into the Ala Wai last month. Very cool.
