Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

I love flying to Green Peter Lake, Oregon. WX was dry and still (Sisters 6K5 was cold, 18F last night) It was about 50F air @ 13:00PST and the water 45F. The colder temps really feel good after being in Hawaii. Left GoPro in Honolulu, so used an iPAD still frame for this report.

I brought a wetsuit but, didn't use it. The water was great for swimming. Clear, clean and fabulous!

There is snow further up in the Cascades above the lake.

Man, every time I think about talking myself out of an expensive set of floats, something like this comes along...

That would be the Island of Yap, Micronesia. Everyday is topless day. Startling when I stepped off the airplane and cleared customs. Sorry no pictures were allowed.

Post trip analysis depicts snow levels lowering to about 3000' MSL. Sisters airport was in the teens last night. We have (7) weeks until Winter too. The "Pineapple Express" is gone for now. No more swimming this season.
