337 /FAA

If you had a job done and the 337 for VG's was misplaced lost how can you get a copy from the FAA?

Go here: http://aircraft.faa.gov/e.gov/ND/

They will send you a CD with all the records they have for that aircraft. If the 337 was properly submitted and approved, it will show up there. I assume that you can just print a copy of that for your logs and you're good to go, but I have been wrong before.

You file the 337 from the STC after you install the VG's.

Micro Aero Dynamics holds the STC for the Maule and it is for the particular Maule so the installer needs to have an airplane to work on in order to order a set of VG's. That is what I was told by Johann. I have the STC but somewhere allong the line I lost the 337.
