Damn It! The worse thing we can do as pilots, I'm sure we've all thought about it before.

Awful news... Seems like there was either some engine troubles or very bad pilot error on approach. Definitely a sad deal.

Here we go again....maybe we could wait at least till the fire is out before the "accident investigators" on this site start crucifying the pilot.

How about we let the NTSB work on this one. It may not have occurred to you, but sometimes family and friends MAY actually search the internet....

I heard on TV that there was reports of aircraft hitting flock of birds before crash .

The NTSB guy was on the news this morning and said the voice recorder kept saying stall,stall, stall. Looking at google maps, was that runway marginal for length for that plane?
