All my headaches stemmed from a Bill of Sale signature block being signed INC on one bill of sale they already had on file vs the being signed LLC on the one I got from the seller which was a typo. Because the two didn't match the feds said it must of been two seperate people
The last paperwork arrived on their desk on Dec 29th. I was tired of waiting so I called today. The person I talked with said all I should have needed to do was scratch out the LLC put INC and initial it and send the bill of sale back in. That would have saved me about 4 months of hassle.
Crazy how much the rules differ depending on who looks at the paperwork. Sorry for my rant. Add one more to the list of believing the adage "Were not happy till your not happy"
