!70B w/220 Franklln on Barnstormers $55K

Saw a 170B on Barnstormers last night. Thought it had the potential to be a pretty good deal if everything checks out.

B model 3100+TT, 220 hp Franklin 100+ since new, 180gear, cleveland double pucks, 8,50 tires, McCauley prop. VG's In Colo.

This should be a great performer, and very good on fuel for the performance.

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

I have the 220 Frank in my Stinson. It is indeed a great performer. I flight plan at 12gph, but rarely burn that. Must burn AVGAS though.
