A bite out of west

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

A bite out of west

Thanks Mongo for your vote of confidence. You likely know that Baltimore is close to becoming the newest IRL venue, so maybe we'll see you around the campus.

But now, to get out of the east.
First, load stuff into your airplane.

Then, leave town.

Troy-Oakland is where I learned to fly. Nice & long (3500') but tight. Used to be another airport nearby there, when you were in the pattern for one you had to look out for traffic in the other. Nearby apartments would occasionally get hit (used to live in one, but not when it got hit). Glad to hear you're enjoying my neck of the woods.

Yea, it's called the "rust belt" for the old iron and steel industries that helped build the country but don't seem to work here anymore.
