Well, now I am looking for an A&P that can do a prebuy inspection for me. I have one plane in Boise and may find more.
Any recommendations for someone competent with Stinsons?

I don't know about that type specifically, but Arnold Aviation in Cascade was solid when I had a problem in the back country a few years ago. Would definitely go back to them.

Maybe call around the Caldwell airport. A mechanic from there came here and bought an old 108 a couple years ago. He seemed to be an enthusiast and had a few of them in the project stage that we was actively working on. I can’t remember his name.

Another option is to call SP Aircraft in Boise and see if you can talk to William. He knows a lot of folks over there and might be able to connect you with a Stinson mechanic.
