Abandoned and little known airport website

A friend sent me a link to a website dedicated to identifying abandoned and little known airport sites around the U.S. The old airports are identified by State, then by region, then locale and name. The info include Lat/Lon, old photos, old aviation charts and local maps depicting the airport, some history of the site and other pertinent info.

I did a BCP search and did not find any reference to this site, but I apologize if it has been mentioned previously.

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

FWIW. There is an aviation podcast called Airspeed where the guy does a 10 minute or so interview with the guy who created the freeman site. I did a search for the fields around in Michigan. It covers the old Ford field in north Detroit. It was neat taking off from Detroit Metro and flying over it. Also did a search on the Boise ones but couldn't see where they had been this weekend taking off out of there. Anyway fun site to check out.
