Scout sold. Buyer sent C3000A skis to Canada to be installed on a Denali Scout, 2100As were shipped to Washington and airframe was delivered to Idaho.

I’m really thankful and happy to have owned it. ACA, Wip, Airframes, and Northwest Backcountry were excellent partners for getting her done. She is a great ship.

But, my time is best spent working on a helicopter commercial CFI at the moment.

I picked up the ferry pilot at KPDX (in which the owner paid for) and she left Oregon on 31” tires standard gear to Idaho. As she flew overhead it really made me sad.

That thing is a beautiful ride. Too bad to see it go, but I’m excited about your progress in RW!

What’s your plans after you get your commercial?

Thank you Cameron!! Glad we can discuss rotorwing topics here! Please keep me honest!

My quest for further ratings is really a lifestyle of always learning. Always being a student. Everyday should be partly dedicated to gaining or transferring knowledge. I finally accomplished my 100 hour requirement and satisfied the contractual agreement with Robinson to carry one passenger. I flew with a retired FAA guy (Mary was at Ft. Shafter, Hawaii — I bet she was relieved it was NOT her :D ). He saw me flying around the airport doing hover work, air taxis, quick stops etc... He said it looked pretty good and decided to fly in left seat. I said “You are the bravest man in Oregon!” But, man oh man, what a feeling to share the beautiful characteristics of the R44 for the first time! A day I will never forget!

Aloha!
