They were at the Super Cub flyin at JC a couple weeks ago. The plane used to belong to a guy I know back in Colorado Springs too.

I was there when it happened. Doug is a very good pilot and did everything right. Both of them were out of the hospital the next day and got home on Wed. They are going to be ok, but the plane is a total loss.
