Accidents in Alaska: Multipart story

Was doing a bit of Googling last night and found this 5-part piece by KTUU in Anchorage about the NTSB and the process of investigation of the high number of small aviation accidents in Alaska. It's long, but kinda interesting. Here's a sample:

Alaska State Trooper Brandon Anderson had the day off. He was fishing with his wife Nancy, but their day was about to change. Jordan couldn't believe what he saw just offshore from Fourth of July Creek.
"It was a hard impact. When he come down, his landing gear touched he wasn't probably running 40 miles an hour or so, cause he was just coasting in. And as soon as his landing gear touched the water, he flipped upside down and it sank immediately. I couldn't believe how fast it went down," said Steve Jordan.

The first page I found was part 5, but here are the links to each part of the story, titled "Crash and Learn."
