Camp table:

Z..where did you get your little table?..I can use it outside of airplane camping. I've been looking for something like that.

Re: Airplane Camping

+1 for jet boil, it's idiot proof and boils water insanely fast!

What do you guys take for gear and food?
I am really wondering about food, can you count on a fire grate for cooking on?
Can we fall timber on the approach end for firewood?

Good tent( must be water proof and under 30 lbs.) -sleeping bag -for creature comforts.Several tarps -good folding chair, Suntan lotion and bug repellent, Coleman Propane 2 burner stove-small table (20 bucks at walmart) assorted pots and pans and Coffee pot. Rope and steaks to tie your bird down, Hatchet and toilet paper -paper towels etc. Cooler to keep food in -spare cell phone battery charged -,SPOT -several flashlights and batteries. Tools in case you need them . Extra pair of sun glasses , big hat , Survival kit .

Food :
Several cans of SPAM -cut it into 1/4-1/2 inch slabs for spam burgers. Loaf of Bread and some miracle whip. Vienna sausage -bunch of them ---- Beef jerky of 3 packs , Breakfast bars -box. Peanut butter and jelly for sandwiches , Water -several gallons or lots of bottles,

This is what I'm packing for my Idaho trip next week. Going to McCall ,Garden Valley, Johnson Creek etc. having MY mini vacation. Weigh the whole load and try and keep it light .
