Thank you! I even had that photo incorporated in a tattoo. With intense mtn peaks, a glacier, an old timer map of Alaska, and even a small Sasquatch to keep the mystery up!

I spent four years in Alaska from 2000-2004 and put 500 hours on a Super Cub in that time. That was an awesome time for me and to say that those years changed me is an understatement. It was more like my formative years as an aviator. I think back on them often and leverage that experience every time I fly. It seems that you are now having that type of experience, plus you have the foresight to document it and the generosity to share it!
I feel flying in AK is kinda like good seafood. I have had salmon/halibut/tanner crab etc, straight from the water to the pan. Now nothing else can compare. Well, now I’ve flown in AK and I’m nervous it’ll jade me when I get in the air back down south.
I know it will not disappoint and flying anywhere is a treat and a challenge in its own ways but it is just a bit different. Adventures will continue as long as I am alive to challenge myself. Learning and utilizing my skills is a big part of who I am.
