Alaska Flying Pictures

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Alaska Flying Pictures

I can't seem to get my pictures processed in time to make the "Where Did You Fly Today" post so these are more like some of "Where I have Flown Last Year...." Perhaps we could put all the Alaska pictures in one post, those were some pretty cool ones from Southwest.
This actually was a couple days ago. Wrangell mountains towards McCarthy

Re: Alaska Flying Pictures

Stunning photos, looks like some wonderful country. This summer I managed a quick trip to McKinley Park and back. Since getting the plane and ferrying it here, that's the first time I've had it beyond the southwest AK, Mat/Su, Anchorage, Kenai Pen area. So I haven't made it over to Valdez yet, it looks like a wonderful area.

Re: Alaska Flying Pictures

Gorgeous! Gotta get back there someday--it's been almost 40 years since I left AK, and while I don't have any desire to return to live, I'd really like to take a nice long visit trip.

Re: Alaska Flying Pictures

I forgot this one. A Valdez size wind blocker. Not sure what happens if the cement mixer tips over on your plane.
