Alaska in April. Look out!

Not necessarily information about airstrips or airports, but more general info about a greater area or a route of flight.

Geez, are they still around? Send Mrs. Zane off to the mall, I'm not sure she would appreciate the varied entertainment on offer. Then again maybe she would....

Only one time that place got me in trouble.. Me and the wife drove a buddy to Anchorage to pick up his GF who was flying in from down south. The planes were delayed so we decided to head over to the company. After about an hour I noticed the wifey unit getting more and more pissy. I finally asked her WTF was wrong with her, she never complained before. She came back with "I did not plan on spending my 16th anniversary with someone elses $%^$%^ in your face".... OOOOOPPPPPSSS seems I forgot that it was my anniversary... she didnt.

And yes, they are still around. Somehow I think the "company" will be the last business standing in Anchorage.

Too bad the Fly By Night Club is shut down. The show was always worthy, and you learned the true meaning of Spam.

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

Will have the little lady in tow, so AK Bush Co is probably not going to be on the itinerary. :)

What is the best way to get back and forth between ANC and Cordova, ANC and Valdez, etc? Just Alaska Air? I'd like to stay flexible, but wondering if I should reserve this airfare well ahead of time, like our flight from PDX to ANC.

Anyone who wishes to shake my greasy hand...PM your phone number.

Hoping to have new BCP shirts and hats by that time, so we can recognize each other.

Second best and really cool way (other than maybe a 135 charter) is by ferry from Whittier.

Cordova is a super cool place...real coastal AK fishing town without a bunch of the cruise ship - T-shirt shop BS. One of the best parts I think is that big ol' airport out there that is pretty much abandoned except for when AK Air shows up. The real airplanes are downtown on the gravel!!!!
