Thank you fellow pilots, I appreciate your constructive criticism & comments on our DVD of "Alaska's Bush Pilots...The Real Deal". When faced with creating a video like this, one is brought to think about all the various aspects of such. I could only include a small fraction of thousands of pieces of information, additional aircraft, more hunting scenes, fishing, facts, figures, engine specs, failures, different music, text, narration and the list goes on forever. So, there is no method that can allow for everyone to be pleased with the presentation. We knew that in the making. So if you walked in our shoes, I can bet on that horse race that almost each would produce something quite different. We are no different than you respectfully said. What was meant by "The Real Deal" is everything that was said by these pilots in their interviews was truthful. They indeed are the "real deal" as it is, they are the one’s that live here and fly those skies on a daily basis. They don't just come here and fly a sightseeing trip or fly here for a few years. It is a lifetime of flying that they talk about. And...each of them that I know ALL carry a chart with them. You cannot begin to know all the areas that you fly in. I thank each and every one of you who made a purchase. I hope that in some manner you could sit back and simply enjoy a show that gives a small bit of insight. The music? Well, I would have loved to put Bach, the Rolling Stones and Clapton but then again, that might not please everyone either...Thanks again boys and please fly safe. We would all love to meet you men/women in person, it would be our pleasure and privilege. Jim Oltersdorf/Alaska
