Didn't go exacly to plan!
Took off out of homer headed direct to Gulkana. Mountains were obscured so I opted to climb over the top.
That worked out for a while but around Girdwood the tops climbed to 14-15k ish. The tops looked lower toward Valdez so I turned that direction. Then the tops started getting pushed up higher again. I knew it was Broken to scattered on the east side of the mountains near Gulkana but I couldn't climb anymore. No oxygen! So I picked my way down over prince william sound and was scud running to Valdez Yep it was a rough one until about 10 out of Valdez!.
Made it in to a pretty much deserted airport and was in need of some gas to have any comfort attempting to go through Thompson pass.
There was a big tank near a hangar that belonged to Vertical Solutions Helicopters, luckily they operate R44's

. Finally got ahold of their Pilot Nick. He called me back from the air and was heading back in from doing some work out in the sound. He said yep they could sell me some gas

. Nick said they are gettin into the fuel business so 100LL will be readily available at Valdez.
I finally got fueled up and headed out made it through the pass with only a few sketchy moments. once on the east side the weather continually got better Daylight was not on my side so I decided to plan for Tok for the night.
I got about 15 out and there was a layer all over the valley. I was able to get over the east side and slip in just before dark.
Still Kinda foggy this morning but Hopefully it will clear and I will head to Whitehorse for customs.
Sorry no pics yet but I have been taking a few.
