Any 182Cs out there?
Technical and practical discussion about specific aircraft types such as Cessna 180, Maule M7, et al. Please read and search carefully before posting, as many popular topics have already been discussed.
Are there any 1960 182C owners out there? I realize the 182 isn’t the cats meow for backcountry work but thought I would ask and see if there are any out there following the forum.
Thanks,
Chip

Skylane on this forum used to have one with a big nose fork and 600x6 tire. The 182D was not much different thant the C and was the last good 182 that they made. After that they got rid of the trimable stabalizer. I fly a B model and the only difference that I know between the B and the C is that mine has a strait tail. The C and D model are the fastest 182's out there.
You can get into every backcountry strip in Idaho in a 182C if you have the skills. It is for sure the cats meow.

Lots of us on here are fond of the 182. To me, the Johnson bar flap control you have is a nice plus. Steve
